You choose the cut; we only ask how you’d like it done. Fries and sauce always come with it. Steak frites the way a canal-side steakhouse should do it — on the Keizersgracht, next to the Leidsestraat.

Had a fantastic evening at Morlang! The highlight was definitely the live band — the atmosphere was incredible. Great music, delicious food and a beautiful canal-side setting. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Morlang is at Keizersgracht 451, on the corner of the Leidsestraat. Leidseplein is a few minutes’ walk, and so are the Nine Streets (Negen Straatjes).
Steak & fries starts at € 26 for a 200 g flat iron; tenderloin is € 32 and rib eye € 34, always with fries and a sauce of your choice. Monday to Wednesday the Steak Night is € 26.50 including a glass of house wine or a draught beer.
Yes. The menu has vegetarian and vegan dishes — burrata, bread with dips, the Smokey Vegan Burger, a falafel bowl at lunch — and the chimichurri sauce is vegan. Let the staff know about allergies.
Yes. Downstairs is our private hall with its own entrance and bar: 50 seated or 80 standing, for birthdays, drinks and company dinners. We don’t charge hall hire, only a minimum spend.
Yes, from spring to September, right on the Keizersgracht. Terrace tables can be reserved.
